Whit Monday 2008 : Monegasque penitents at the Canonica

For the feast of Saint Devote in Lucciana on Whit Monday, May 12, 2008, a group of penitents from the Venerable Arch brotherhood of Mercy of the Principality of Monaco went to the Corsican Island to follow in the Saint's footsteps.

Among others events, the Monegasque penitents attended the religious service which took place in the cathedral of the Canonica where the presence of the Mayor of Monaco (who went specially there because Monaco and Lucciana are twin towns) could also be noticed.
